Saint Lary Soulan is the foremost ski resort in the French Pyrenees. It attracts a large number of French and Spanish skiers as well as an increasing number of British visitors. It has a great variety of skiing providing something for skiers of all levels.

Saint Lary 1700 "Pla d´Adet" This sector is dedicated to family skiing, with a large number of nursery slopes, shops and a cable car linking it to the main village below. Ski runs link this area with St Lary 1900 and a free shuttle bus also provides transport between the two.

Chalet Lou Rider is located at Saint Lary 1900 "Espiaube" from where a chair and bubble lift take skiers directly to the ski fields at Saint Lary 2400 where the more experienced skiers will find plenty to amuse them. Guests can ski back to the chalet which sits at the base of the 3.6km Mirabelle, one of the longest runs in the Pyrenees descending some 700m.
Espiaube also has a half pipe and a new nursery slope will open here this winter.

St Lary 2400
This is the main ski area for the more experienced skiers with a great variety of blue, red and black runs. It also has a snow park with a slalom and mogul field, a track for cross country skiers and access to walks around the beautiful Lac de l´Oule which winter visitors can explore on snow shoes.

Ski school and ski guides
Private or group lessons can be organised through the ESF (French Ski School) at Espiaube. Early booking is recommended during high season. There are also a number of independent instructors available for private lessons.

Ski guides can also be arranged to show skiers and snowboarders around on the mountain, or take visitors snow shoeing. Professional guides or instructors can be arranged for all activities if booked in advance. Please ask for further information.
