Set in the heart of the Haute Pyrénées at 1600m altitude, Chalet Lou Rider
welcomes guests to the friendly atmosphere of an authentic mountain chalet.
The chalet is superbly situated above the village of Saint Lary Soulan, on the
edge of the Neouvielle nature reserve and close to several walking trails where
summer visitors can explore magnificent lake and mountain scenery. The GR10 is
the most famous of these, running the length of the Pyrénées and passing some
500m above the chalet.
In winter, the chalet boasts an exclusive position, being only 100m from the ski
lifts that give direct access to one of the largest ski domains in the French
Pyrénées. Whilst other skiers make their way up the mountain and battle for
parking places, guests at Lou Rider can stroll straight onto the lifts after a
leisurely breakfast and still be first on the pistes.
Many other activities are available in the region, making it an ideal location
for a summer or winter holiday for travellers, families, friends, groups or
seminars. |
